I only need a few smaller items coated, can you help me?
Due to the heavy hurricane damage that has occurred in recent years, we are currently only able to handle commercial/industrial projects in a timely manner.  We will try to accommodate smaller projects if time is not a constraint for you. Give us a call and we’ll discuss working your project into our schedule.

I have a large number of items I need to coat. Can you handle large jobs?

Yes, we can! Our facility is large enough to handle oversize items such as staircases and other architectural and construction materials. Our custom-built oven is 30 feet long, with an opening that is 11 feet square.

How much does powder coating cost?
This is one of the most frequent questions we hear, and one of the hardest to answer. It’s like asking “how much does a house cost?” There are a lot of factors involved, including the condition and size of the item, the color and any special textures or finishes you need, etc. We can usually give a pretty good estimate based on photos and a phone conversation, but all quotes are subject to change once we complete an in-person inspection.

What colors do you have available?
Tons of them! When you come in to our shop, we can show you samples of colors from our suppliers.

Do you do sand or media blasting?
Yes, we do!  We do not use sand – we use a media that creates a profile appropriate for powder application.

I am working on restoring an older car. Can you powder coat the parts for me?
Yes, we do a lot of work on automotive parts! Just keep in mind that these projects may take longer to complete, due to our current heavy commercial load, AND that certain parts get too hot, such as exhaust systems and certain engine parts. Powder may not be the appropriate coating for items that reach high temperatures in operation. Come see us and we can discuss the particulars!

What materials can you powder coat?
In general, we can powder coat most any item made of metal. If your items will be exposed to harsh environments, corrosive chemicals or high heat, give us a call to discuss the best way to handle your project.

How close can you match my existing color?
We have a huge number of colors in stock, and can order many more, so chances are we can provide you with the color you need. When picking a color, keep in mind that the way we experience color changes based upon many factors including the quality and intensity of light. Be sure to look at our samples in different lights and against different backgrounds.
